Go Power! Smart Chargers were designed specifically to extend the life of deep-cycle battery banks. With a unique microprocess or controlled electronic design, Go Power! Smart Chargers offer multi-stage charging to accurately recharge and maintain battery banks without electrolyte loss. Go Power! Smart Chargers are ideal for wet cell batteries.
This GP Battery Charger series is a high frequency switching mode 3-stage battery charger and equipped with a micro controller and PFC circuit. This allows the GP Battery Charger to perform intelligent battery management and to provide highly reliable and power efficient operation.
Go Power! Smart Chargers feature a three-stage charging process, more sophisticated and faster charging than conventional transformer type chargers.
The charging stages are:
- Bulk Stage: Constant current charging at a high voltage level at maximum amperage.
- Absorption Stage: Tapering current for the last 10-20% of charge.
- Float Stage: Lower voltage float mode to prevent electrolyte loss.
Go Power! Smart Charger features include an LED display of battery charging state short circuit and over-temperature protection and a battery type selector switch. The high efficiency electronic design makes them the ideal choice as either a back-up charger or for use with generators.

The Go Power! Battery Converter Chargers are compact, powerful battery converter chargers that offer fast, accurate battery charging at a reasonable cost. Using state-of-the-art, converter switch-mode technology, Go Power! Battery Chargers are reliable, compact and lightweight.
For RV systems, they feature high continuous output to feed your 12- or 24-volt loads when plugged into shore power.
All models feature switchable output voltage modes, one for float charging and one for rapid charging. The optional GPC-Smart Controller converts the Go Power! models to a three-stage charger, with an automatic "equalization" stage to periodically boost charge batteries.
