| DC-DC Converters DC-DC converters allow you to use DC loads of various voltages from one fixed voltage battery bank. With efficiencies between 80-90%, these solid state converters are available in step-up and step-down designs. Standard step-down models output 13.5 volts from a 24 V source. The economical SPC-5 is rated for loads up to 5 amps and can be used to run VHF radios, from 24 V battery banks. The industrial PS2412, SIPC-2412-5A and SIPC-2412-10A, are high efficiency and can be Class I, Div. II approved . Step-up converters deliver 24 volt output from 12 V sources. The PS1224-1A has a rated output of 625 mA at 24 volts, and an operating temperature range of -40oC to 55oC. Run small 24 volt equipment from a 12 volt battery bank with this convenient DIN rail mounted converter. The SIPC-1224-12A delivers 12 amps and also can be Class I, Div. II approved .
