The TM-500 meter can be installed with all inverter and battery systems. Simple installation with plug-in cable connections. Includes a 500 amp shunt and 15 m cable. For 12 - 32 volt systems. For 48 volt systems, the optional TM-48 shunt circuit board is required in addition to the TM-500. The TM-500 can also be used to turn the power on and off for any DR series inverter; you will require an extra cable to use this feature.

This shunt is for systems with a maximum current of 400 amps continuous with no overloads, or 300 amps continuous with up to a 5 minute overload to 500 amps maximum. Allows “amps” readings as low as 0.1 amps and is suitable for most systems with moderate or large sized inverters.

Lightning arrestors are recommended in any area prone to lightning. They not only protect your regulators and DC loads, but can be installed to protect your inverter as well. Inverters are vulnerable to lightning induced surges, and the repairs are not covered by manufacturers' warranties. A lightning arrestor is insurance against damage. Locate arrestors at the PV array and/or the location where the array cable connects to circuit breaker or charge controller. In addition, lightning arrestors can be located in the main AC circuit panel to protect the system from lightning strikes entering through AC branch circuits.
