Unlike other solar-power systems, the EverGEN solar engine is completely self-contained, with all components (including solar modules, rechargeable batteries, sensors and electronics) integrated within a sleek, compact and durable pole-mounted design.
When paired with Carmanah's industry-proven LED-4SE luminaire, an EverGEN solar engine becomes an EverGEN general illumination system - a versatile, stand-alone lighting solution that is cost-effective and eco-friendly.
With no trenching, cabling or permits required, an EverGEN general illumination system can be installed in minutes, with minimal technical expertise, at a fraction of the cost of a hard-wired system. An adjustable mounting assembly allows you to tilt and rotate the system during installation for optimal orientation to the sun at any latitude. Free from the restrictions of a grid connection, EverGEN systems are designed to provide many years of uninterrupted, maintenance-free area lighting - without the monthly utility bill!
Designed to operate reliably in extreme climates and harsh conditions at nearly any location on Earth, EverGEN general illumination systems incorporate Carmanah's field proven solar-power technology, used in more than 250,000 installations worldwide. The self-contained design protects sensitive components within a rugged aluminum shell, and security fasteners protect EverGEN systems from theft and tampering.
Carmanah's MICROSOURCE® energy management system (EMS) automatically balances energy requirements with available resources, allowing each EverGEN system to "learn" and adapt to its environment. With MICROSOURCE EMS, lighting characteristics such as automatic on/off times and default light output levels can also be customized for maximum efficiency, reliability and convenience.
The EverGEN solar engine combines compact size with unprecedented versatility - in addition to powering an LED luminaire, an EverGEN solar engine is a universal power source, ideal for all types of low-voltage equipment, from cameras and remote sensors to Wi Fi hubs, RF modules and modems. |
