Multi Wavelength Sensors
Multi-wavelength sensors utilize ESP Algorithms to provide ‘aim and read’ capabilities for materials with complex emissivity characteristics that are not accurately measured by single and dual wavelength sensors. This includes applications involving non-greybody materials such as aluminum, brass, chrome, copper, molybdenum, stainless steel, tin, titanium, tungsten, and zinc. In addition, these sensors can handle adverse application conditions such as intervening media, and small or wandering targets. |
 |
- Temperature limits of 200-4500°F (95-2500°C)
- Accurate, reliable, repeatable measurements
- Wide selection of temperature ranges and optics
- Measures target temperature, signal strength (emissivity), signal dilution, and ambient temperature
- Visual, laser, and fiber optic alignment options
- A variety of installation and protective accessories
These advanced multi-wavelength sensors include ESP Technology that enables measurements with applications that were previously considered difficult to measure. This includes the patented ESP Filters to filter out bad measurements as well as ESP Algorithms to compensate for complex emissivity characteristics.

PRO 200 Fiber Optic Alignment
The PRO 200 Multi-Wavelength Sensors with Fiber Optics are used with applications involving non-greybody materials such as aluminum, brass, copper, stainless steel, and zinc. With the fiber optic configuration, it is possible to view a target and mount the sensor electronics in a remote or more convenient location. This provides greater durability and flexibility with sensor installations that involve confined spaces and/or severe environments. |

All of Williamson’s fiber optic sensors use a small, sealed fiber optic cable with an ambient limit of 400°F (200°C) to enable access to difficult to reach targets and to survive hostile operating conditions. In addition, Williamson offers several unique fiber cable options that can enable measurements on applications that were previously considered difficult to measure. This includes the ArmorGuard System, the Stainless Steel Braid System, and the Gooseneck System.
