About Dyer Technology
Dyer Technology was founded in May 1978 as a provider of automation services to industrial companies. We continue to supply end-users and OEM's in New England with PLC's and PC control products. In addition to control system components we offer a full turn-key solution from control system design and documentation through complete panel assembly, installation, commissioning and integration into existing plant systems.
We also provide industrial networking equipment including wireless products, human machine interface, steppers and servos, wiring solutions, data collection software and other leading edge products.
Our mission includes delivering hardware, developing applications and providing product training and other ongoing support to our customers.
We sell the complete Automation Direct line at the catalog price, and provide local sales and technical support for it. The products offered through Automation Direct are high quality and low cost. Included are the Productivity 3000 (next generation of automation controllers) PLC’s, enclosures, motors, drives, wiring solutions, sensors including thermocouples and many other products used in machine control and data acquisition.
Much of our focus is on industrial networks with our Molex line that includes SST, Applicom and Brad Harrison products. Rugged Ethernet switches from Sixnet and their new cellular modems are reliable, cost-effective products that bring communication to and from the factory floor and among facilities.
Temperature is the most widely measured variable in the manufacturing process and we have a number of products for measurement, control and collection of data. FLIR has a broad range of both hand-held and fixed mounted infrared imagers. This technology has become much more economical in recent years.
Training remains an important aspect of our business. We offer courses on basic PLC operation as well as introductory and advanced relay ladder logic programming. Training is done at our training center in Hudson, NH or at our customer's facility.
Our customer’s satisfaction with Dyer Technology is directly related to the capable, hard working and dedicated people who work here. Two of our current employees have been here since 1978 when the company was founded and three of us have been here more than 10 years each.
